Module 1: Understand the Root Causes of Trauma & Pain and That You’re a Far Greater Presence Than Your Wounding (October 26)

The first step in healing trauma and emotional and physical pain is understanding it, which includes bringing awareness to your responses to it — which are inadvertently hijacking your nervous system.

You look at the root causes — and stop chasing or suppressing your symptoms — so you can begin living at the cause of your life instead of the effect of your pain.

The next step is to gather foundational tools and practices to shift your relationship to stress… and come to understand stress as a healthy force that can create cohesion, connection, and transformation.

This week, you’ll broaden your window of tolerance to make contact with and heal imprints of trauma that have historically been too much for you to make sense of and process. This is how you’ll grow your capacity to be with what is. You’ll also gain greater access to your upper brain — of logic and reason — and default to your survival brain less and less.

When we are aware of ourselves, there are no obstacles on our path. We realize that we are a presence far greater than our pain and our wounding.

In this session, you’ll:

  • Define what trauma actually is… you have to see it to heal it
  • Understand the human need for safety and why we need it to heal
  • Identify the nervous system drivers and what emotions are associated with the fight, flight, freeze, and appease responses
  • Expand your window of tolerance and understand hyper- and hypo-arousal
  • Learn how to hold paradox and tensegrity as a powerful means to track multiple lived experiences at once
  • Discover The Sacred Pause as the foundational mindfulness-based practice that you’ll build upon throughout the course to be with what is — with a whole lot of heart, through radical love and acceptance

Module 2: Learn Key Practices to Regulate Your Nervous System as the Antidote to Unresolved Trauma (November 2)

You have to regulate your nervous system to resource presence, safety, and trust. This is a journey from trauma response to a relaxed, alert awareness.

A regulated nervous system is a foundational antidote to unresolved trauma and the stress of our times. It provides you with the capacity to feel the earth beneath you. And as you locate sacred ground, you stabilize and locate security.

This is how you create a sanctuary of steady stillness to cultivate benevolence and goodwill towards yourself. Here you can acknowledge what is with compassion and set the tone for auspicious blessings on your healing path.

In this session, you’ll:

  • Understand negativity bias and catastrophizing, and track how your mind scans for worst-case scenarios and robs you of your ability to rest inside yourself
  • Learn how to develop safety resources as a means to come back to yourself and trust
  • Learn grounding and modulation practices to return to when your nervous system gets flooded
  • Discover the journey from isolation to connection as a necessary component to healing
  • Gain coherence to experience the Self as a symphony orchestra in full harmony and resonance with itself
  • Discover the art of non-doing to stop fighting against yourself and locate an effortless awareness to support healing

Module 3: Learn Powerful Practices to Experience & Embody True Presence, Agency & the Nourishing Flow of Your Life Force (November 9)

The impact of trauma often has us living from the neck up. It robs us of direct lived experience inside of our bodies. This week, you’ll journey from cerebral thought to gut instinct as you learn to inhabit the instinctual wisdom of your body.

This is important, because your lived experience inside your body shapes your cognition. It influences your perception of concepts, your performance of cognitive tasks such as reasoning and judgment, as well as how you relate to your environment.

Embodiment allows you access to the truth and wisdom of direct, lived experience inside of your body, where your connection to presence and agency reside, and where you come in contact with your own melody and a state of flow.

Where trauma can stop us in our tracks, embodiment helps us return to the fluid body of expression, which nourishes us and awakens our creative life force that longs to be expressed.

In this session, you’ll:

  • Discover interoception — knowing what’s happening within your body — as a path to agency and presence
  • Learn the nature-related 5 Element Theory as a path to embodiment
  • Learn how to map consciousness, psychology, rhythm, and intention inside your body to know yourself more deeply
  • Discover elemental healing states and resources to support awareness and healing
  • Learn how to do an elemental assessment for vitality and to balance your daily energy
  • Experience elemental meditations and contemplations to strengthen your elemental qualities or create a counterbalance to your energy

Integration Session 1 (November 16)

Imprints of trauma feed off of patterns of alienation and isolation. This week, you’ll explore how to reclaim connection as a bridge to understanding and healing through practices for attuning to the relational field, which means being present and responsive to the power and aliveness of human connection.

It is the intersection of receptive hearts, right-brain intuition, and a humble field of listening that gives you the ability to understand, use, and manage your emotions in positive ways — to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges, and defuse conflict.

This is the heart of emotional intelligence, which helps you feel energized, dissolve separation, and create cohesion and connection to self and others. This week, you’ll explore the transformative power of emotion to strengthen your sense of self and live in the energy of manifestation.

In this session, you’ll:

  • Learn the art of titration and honoring the unsayable to heal through a trauma-informed lens
  • Understand separation, guilt, and fear as they relate to trauma and impact how you relate to your emotions
  • Explore the unfulfilled wish and emotional impact of unmet needs to learn how to grieve the loss of what never was and be with your pain
  • Learn how to speak the unspeakable and how when you name victimization, you no longer need to identify as a victim
  • Learn about relational intelligence and the anatomy of emotion, and how to attune to the message beneath emotion
  • Explore sensing and holding neutral space as a powerful practice to help you no longer identify with emotion but witness, understand, and honor it
  • Learn how to differentiate between self and experience to no longer get swept up in the tide of experience, but rather witness experience as separate from you

Module 5: Nurture Life-Giving Values to Reorient From Fear-Based Motivation to Courage-Fueled Inspiration (December 7)

When you nurture generative and life-giving values, you no longer need to push or muscle your way through life, but rather feel the pull of your life force guiding you.

Values are derived from the most emotionally charged experiences in our lives. When they’re organized around fear, pain, or isolation, this keeps you stuck in an over-adrenalized state of stress, drains you of your life-force energy, and leads to overwhelm, burnout, and emptiness.

On the other hand, when you tether your values to a sense of belonging within your heart, they can engender a more generative and life-affirming quality to guide, nourish, and sustain you. This is where you can transcend the limitations of wounding and live in greater union with yourself. This is the home of self-acceptance and the love of divine union.

In this session, you’ll:

  • Learn how to locate empowered alignment with your values and make sure your values are not in conflict
  • Strike a balance between motivation and inspiration and the masculine and feminine within
  • Learn how victim and survivor consciousness show up in the masks and costumes you wear and the postures you assume — and how to remember your essential nature that is thriving consciousness
  • Understand the difference between attention and intention and why it matters when it comes to healing trauma
  • Discover choiceless awareness as a pathway to letting go of the death grip of control, force, and manipulation — and rest within yourself with more and more ease
  • Access global and local awareness to track multiple experiences at once while remaining present to yourself

Module 6: Create a Conscious, Clear & Coherent Story About Your Life That Inspires & Empowers You (December 14)

Your imagination literally creates the structure of your brain and your life. Unresolved trauma leaves us fragmented, cloudy, and unconscious — and stuck in old narratives (the stories we tell ourselves and others about who we are and what our life is like).

This week, you’ll flip the script and break through upper limits and the fragmentation of your subconscious and unconscious beliefs and behaviors that have been organized around trauma. Like hitting the refresh button on a computer screen, you’ll update the narratives you carry that would otherwise sabotage, hijack, and leave you feeling split. This is the key to expanding into a cohesive and unified possibility consciousness and living from a place of wholeness.

In this session, you’ll:

  • Explore “what is consciousness?” The conscious mind is what we think we believe, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg!
  • Learn that you are not your beliefs — and not to believe everything you think
  • Discover how the subconscious and unconscious mind live inside the body and represent what we really believe
  • Explore a body psychology map to locate where consciousness and belief reside in your body
  • Learn how to flip the script on your life and write a new narrative
  • Experience a neuroplasticity exercise to create new possibilities in your life

Module 7: Experience Yourself as the Dynamic Process of Change to Reclaim Your Wisdom, Vision & True Identity (January 11)

Identity can be understood as a point of observation and experienced as change and process. It can help us live beyond limiting or fixed concepts and in the Self’s ever-evolving and true dynamic nature. This is the birthplace of innovation, clarity, and insight.

Yet, when your identity is organized around unresolved trauma and attachment wounding you become static, fixed, and rigid. This can lead to the betrayal of self, and intuition and focus can fly out the window as you lose contact with our own inner silence and knowing.

This week, you’ll embark on an Identity Journey to experience Self as the dynamic process of change, shedding the residue of traumatic experience and its imprints to reclaim your wisdom and vision.

In this session, you’ll:

  • Practice self-inquiry — “Who am I?” — to dissolve fixed notions of Self that have been organized around wounding
  • Learn how ignorance and betrayal have a stranglehold on pain and suffering
  • Explore the Path of Individuation to understand your true nature beyond survival strategies and ego constructs
  • Learn how balancing the right and left hemispheres of your brain helps you connect to your innate wisdom
  • Learn how to map attachment and behavior, belief, and identity
  • Discover how aversion and attachment show up and get in the way of healing
  • Learn how to accept pain as purification and the power of surrender

Module 8: Harness the Impact You Have on the World as a Healing Force That Turns Pain Into Purpose (January 18)

This week will be a journey from should to must. When we draw from our intrinsic motivation, the power of our presence points to our purpose and who we are deep within ourselves becomes a healing force for good.

Instead of looking for purpose or meaning externally, making an impact informed by intrinsic motivation fuels a generative feedback loop from the inside out. This way, our impact is a healing force that alchemizes pain into purpose to nourish our greatest destiny.

This is where we feel a sense of communion with the whole. Where we derive a sense of meaning, place, and significance by simply being ourselves — and where being ourselves is in service to humanity and the greater good.

In this session, you’ll:

  • Learn how the 5 senses either connect us to our soul or distort our experience of the truth
  • Discover the difference between intention and impact and why it matters
  • Experience the inward gaze to cut out distractions and get clear on what brings you to life
  • Explore selfless service as a path to healing
  • Learn how cultivating healing states is more easily achieved through being yourself

Module 9: Synthesize the Powerful Teachings of the 7 PRISMA Pillars to Support You on Your Healing Path Forward (January 25)

From trauma foundations to a deep dive into the 7 PRISMA Pillars, we’ve covered much ground on the road to healing. This integration week will provide extra space for Q&As, reflection, and guided meditation, as well as focused time to create an action plan to synthesize and integrate the course material moving forward.

Remembering that healing is a nonlinear path, you’ll revisit the powerful teachings and practices within each of the 7 PRISMA Pillars to support you on your healing path.

In this session, you’ll:

  • Explore The PRISMA Pillar Checklist to help you discern if any of the PRISMA Pillars are out of balance and/or need some support or attention, so you can orient to where you are on your healing path and meet yourself there
  • Review The PRISMA Pillar Tools, frameworks, and practices you’ve gathered on this journey — all highlighted in one place — to return to for self-nourishment with ease when you need to
